On February 4, I went with my parents to the CosmoCaixa museum in Barcelona. It was a rainy day and we had planned to go because they had exposed the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, so as I like dinosarurs and being this my favourite one, I couldn't miss the visit to the museum.
I will divide the photos into three entries so that there aren't so many photos and text, that I know it tires a lot. This first entry will be dedicated to the museum in general, the second one to the animals that live there and in the third one I will publish the photos of the skeleton of the T-Rex.
To go to the museum, I had to take the Metro (subway) and the FCG. The U7 line of the FCG is near the museum, about 10 or 15 minutes walk.
My last visit to the museum was in August 2016, so some things have changed. I also took my DSLR camera instead of the bridge one, so the quality of the photos has improved.

At the lobby of the museum Marie Curie has joined to welcome visitors along with Charles Darwin and Albert Einstein. I think it's great that they have incorporated a woman.

This head of a Triceratops is part of the collection of the museum, it has been exposed for a long time and it always impresses me when I see it.

When you reach the lower floor you can visit a piece of Antarctica. They still have the friendly penguins welcoming visitors.

This time I didn't took photos of the photographic exhibition, which hasn't changed, but I did take a photo of the recreation of a scientific laboratory in the Antarctica. You could not go inside.

The pendulum is a classic of the museum. It's the first thing you see when you enter the lower floor, where all the experiments, the flooded forest and the permanent and temporary exhibitions are exposed.

El péndulo es un clásico del museo. Es lo primero que ves al entrar en la planta inferior, donde están expuestos todos los experimentos, el bosque inundado y las exposiciones permanentes y temporales.

On the top floor you can play with these mechanical butterflies that light up by touching some buttons. I don't exactly know how they work, when I went up I didn't even remember to go and look at them.

This book is very long, measures several meters. I had to make the photo lying on the floor so I could get the whole book out in the photographs.

In this visit I didn't take photos of the rest of the experiments and objects that are exposed, you could spend hours photographing, so I will take more photos in the next visit.

La mujer de las dos primeras fotografías es una reconstrucción de Lucy, cuyos restos originales tienen 3,5 millones de años y fueron encontrados en Etiopía.
Los demás muñecos de cera a tamaño real de humanos prehistóricos representan varios descubrimientos y rituales, como caza, el descubrimiento del fuego y un rito funerario.
Éstas últimas fotos no son muy buenas, la iluminación es casi escasa en esta área del museo. A ver si para la próxima vez que vaya consigo sacarlas mejor enfocadas.
En esta visita no hice fotos al resto de experimentos y objetos que hay expuestos, podrías pasarte horas fotografiando, así que ya sacaré más fotos en la próxima visita.
En la próxima entrada publicaré las fotos que tomé a algunos de los animales que hay en el museo.
