7 days bw

I joined the Instagram challenge '7 days BnW'. It is about publishing during 7 days a black and white photo, without explanations. Although there were days that I didn't know what to publish, I managed to finish it.

For this challenge I took the photos with the camera of my smartphone. Here I will give an explanation of the photographs.

Me uní al reto de Instagram '7 days BnW'. Se trata de publicar una foto en blanco y negro durante 7 días, sin explicaciones. Aunque hubo días que no sabía qué publicar, conseguí terminarlo.

Para el reto, tomé las fotos con la cámara de mi teléfono. Aquí sí que daré una explicación de las fotografías.

On February 16 I went for a walk in Barcelona and I took the camera. I took more photos than I expected, so I'll post two entries.

As I went through several sites I'll show you photos of the route I took.

CosmoCaixa (February · Febrero 2018) - T-Rex Trix

In the previous posts I talked about my last visit to the CosmoCaixa museum in Barcelona. I have already talked about the museum itself and showed photos of some of the animals that live there.

In this post I will tell you about my experience at the T-Rex Trix exhibition, where there was exhibited a real skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex called Trix and could be visited until May of this year. This was the reason why I made this visit to the museum, I like dinosaurs and everything related to them, being the T-Rex my favourite.

In order to access, you had to show your entry so that the reviewer could read the code with a machine. Once done, you could go up the stairs until you reach the exhibition hall where the first thing you saw was the impressive skeleton.

En las anteriores entradas hablé sobre mi última visita al museo CosmoCaixa, de Barcelona. Ya he hablado sobre el museo en sí y mostrado fotos de algunos de los animales que viven allí.

En esta entrada os voy a contar mi experiencia en la exposición T-Rex Trix, en la que había expuesto un esqueleto real de un Tiranosaurio Rex llamado Trix y se podía visitar hasta mayo de este año. Este fue el motivo por el que hice esta visita al museo, me gustan los dinosaurios y todo lo relacionado con ellos, siendo el T-Rex mi favorito.

Para poder acceder, tenías que enseñar tu entrada para que el revisor leyese el código con una máquina. Una vez hecho, ya podías subir por las escaleras hasta llegar a la sala de exposiciones donde lo primero que veías era el impresionante esqueleto.

CosmoCaixa (February · Febrero 2018) - Animals · Animales

In this second entry of my visit to the CosmoCaixa museum in Barcelona I will show you photos of the flooded forest and some of the animals that live in the museum.

The flooded forest is a space in which the habitat of the Amazon rainforest has been recreated. The temperature and humidity are also adapted so that the animals can feel comfortable. But as I mentioned in another post, I don't like to see the animals caged or in tiny aquariums.

Esta segunda entrada de mi visita al museo CosmoCaixa de Barcelona os voy a enseñar fotos del bosque inundado y algunos de los animales que viven en el museo.

El bosque inundado es un espacio en el que se ha recreado el hábitat de la selva del Amazonas. La temperatura y humedad también están adaptadas para que los animales se sientan cómodos. Pero como ya comenté en otra entrada, no me gusta ver a los animales enjaulados ni en acuarios minúsculos.

CosmoCaixa (February · Febrero 2018) - Museum · Museo

On February 4, I went with my parents to the CosmoCaixa museum in Barcelona. It was a rainy day and we had planned to go because they had exposed the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, so as I like dinosarurs and being this my favourite one, I couldn't miss the visit to the museum.

I will divide the photos into three entries so that there aren't so many photos and text, that I know it tires a lot. This first entry will be dedicated to the museum in general, the second one to the animals that live there and in the third one I will publish the photos of the skeleton of the T-Rex.

To go to the museum, I had to take the Metro (subway) and the FCG. The U7 line of the FCG is near the museum, about 10 or 15 minutes walk.

My last visit to the museum was in August 2016, so some things have changed. I also took my DSLR camera instead of the bridge one, so the quality of the photos has improved.

El 4 de febrero fui con mis padres al museo CosmoCaixa de Barcelona. Era un día lluvioso y teníamos planeado ir porque tenían expuesto el esqueleto de una Tiranosaurio Rex, así que gustándome los dinosarios y siendo este mi favorito, no podía faltar la visita al museo.

Dividiré las fotos en tres entradas para que no haya tantas fotos y texto, que sé que cansa mucho. Esta primera entrada estará dedicada al museo en general, la segunda a los animales que viven allí y en la tercera publicaré las fotos del esqueleto de la T-Rex.

Para ir al museo, tuve que coger el metro y los FCG. La línea U7 de los FCG queda cerca del museo, a unos 10 o 15 minutos andando.

Mi última visita al museo fue en agosto de 2016, así que algunas cosas han cambiado. También me llevé la cámara réflex en lugar de la bridge, así que la calidad de las fotos ha mejorado.

Barcelona - Glòries (January · Enero 2018)

On January 27 I went with my mother to the Les Glòries shopping center in Barcelona, she wanted to buy a necklace that she didn't find in the Carrefour centers that we had already visited and this was her last hope. I have to say that the visit produced results because there they had the model that she wanted.

Since we were going to go through this area of Barcelona that we don't usually visit, I carried my camera.

El 27 de enero fui con mi madre al centro comercial Les Glòries de Barcelona, quería comprarse un collar que no encontraba en los centros Carrefour que ya habíamos visitado y esta era su última esperanza. Tengo que decir que la visita tuvo sus frutos ya que allí sí tenían el modelo que quería.

Ya que íbamos a ir por esta zona de Barcelona que no solemos visitar, me llevé la cámara de fotos.

CC Arenas Barcelona - Barcelona (January · Enero 2018)

In my previous post I published photos that I took on January 19th between Hospitalet de Llobregat and Barcelona. That afternoon my mother and I walked to Plaça d'Espanya in Barcelona, where I took several pictures from the viewpoint of the Arenas Barcelona shopping center, also known as 'Las Arenas'.

Las Arenas is an old bullring that over the years was completely abandoned, so it was finally restored and it was decided to give it a new use, thus creating a shopping center.

I will write the names of the different places in Catalan because that's what they are officially called and therefore, if you ever visit Barcelona, it's the language in which you will find them both on maps and in the street signs.  If you ask to a passer-by and tell them the name in Spanish, there's no problem.

En mi anterior entrada publiqué fotos que tomé el 19 de enero entre Hospitalet de Llobregat y Barcelona. Esa tarde mi madre y yo fuimos andando hasta Plaça d'Espanya de Barcelona, donde hice varias fotos desde el mirador del C.C. Arenas Barcelona, también conocido como 'Las Arenas'.

Las Arenas es una antigua plaza de toros que con el paso de los años quedó completamente abandonada, así que finalmente se restauró y se decidió darle un nuevo uso, creando así un centro comercial.

Los nombres de los distintos lugares los escribiré en catalán porque así es como se llaman de forma oficial y por lo tanto, si alguna vez visitáis Barcelona es el idioma en el que los vais a encontrar tanto en mapas como en las placas de calle. Si preguntáis a algún transeúnte y les decís el nombre en castellano, no hay ningún problema.

On January 19th I went with my mother to take a walk through Hospitalet de Llobregat and Barcelona. Both cities are side by side.

We also went out with the excuse of looking for some necklaces that my mother wanted to buy in Carrefour. In the hypermarket of my town they didn't have the models that she was looking for, so we went to the one on the mall Gran Via 2, in Hospitalet de Llobregat, to try our luck. They were sold out so to spend the afternoon, we decided to take the walk to Plaça Espanya, in Barcelona.

In this post I will publish the photos I took on the border between Hospitalet and Barcelona.

El 19 de enero salí con mi madre a pasear por Hospitalet de Llobregat y Barcelona, ambas ciudades está una al lado de la otra.

También salimos con la excusa de buscar unos collares que mi madre quería comprar en Carrefour. En el hipermercado de mi pueblo no tenían los modelos que ella buscaba, así que nos fuimos al del cel C.C. Gran Via 2, en Hospitalet de Llobregat, para probar suerte. Ya los tenían agotados así que para pasar la tarde, decidimos dar el paseo hasta la Plaça Espanya de Barcelona.

En esta entrada voy a publicar las fotos que hice en la frontera entre Hospitalet y Barcelona.
