On February 16 I went for a walk in Barcelona and I took the camera. I took more photos than I expected, so I'll post two entries.

El 16 de febrero salí a pasear por Barcelona y me llevé la cámara. Tomé más fotos de las que esperaba, así que publicaré dos entradas.

I was lucky to be able to take the photo of the seagull on top of the statue, it didn't move and I was able to take it without problem.
Tuve suerte de poder tomar la foto de la gaviota encima de la estatua, no se movió y pude tomarla sin problema.
Leaving political issues aside, the photographs are of the "Acampada per la República" ('camping for the republic' in catalan) that has been in the square since the beginning of the year. You can see "esteladas" (Catalunya's flag for the independence) and flags of the catalan resistance, this is the black flag with the cross of Santa Eulalia, patron of the city of Barcelona, and a star. There's also a second camp with homeless people.
Dejando temas políticos a un lado, las fotografías son de la "Acampada per la República" que está en la plaza desde principios de año. Se pueden ver "esteladas" y banderas de la resistencia catalana, esto es la bandera negra con la cruz de Santa Eulalia, patrona de la ciudad de Barcelona, y una estrella. También hay una segunda acampada con personas sin techo.

Although I usually walk around the area when I go to Barcelona, I still had not taken a photograph of the cathedral with the DSLR camera.
Aunque suelo pasear por la zona cuando voy a Barcelona, aún no había tomado una fotografía de la catedral con la cámara réflex.
Acueducto romano - Roman aqueduct
The aqueduct is located very close to the cathedral, so it's not difficult to find it and enjoy this ancient Roman construction. In the Gothic quarter (in Catalan Barri Gòtic) of Barcelona there are many architectural remains from the Roman and medieval periods.
El acueducto está situado muy cerca de la catedral, así que no es difícil encontrarlo y deleitarse con esta antigua construcción romana. En en barrio gótico (en catalán Barri Gòtic) de Barcelona hay muchos restos arquitectónicos de la época romana y medieval.

Carrer del Bisbe
The monument is located in a small square next to Carrer del Bisbe. The monument is of a considerable size and is dedicated to the memory of those who died during the War of Spanish Independence in 1809 against the Napoleonic troops.
The Carrer del Bisbe is located right next to the Roman aqueduct and through this narrow pedestrian street you reach the Plaça de Sant Jaume. In this street you can find Pont del Bisbe (Bishop's Bridge), which was built in 1928.
The last photograph is the vault of the bridge.

El monumento está situado en una pequeña plaza justo al Carrer del Bisbe. El monumento es de un considerable tamaño y está dedicado a la memoria de aquellos que murieron durante la Guerra de la Independencia Española en 1809 contra las tropas napoleónicas.
El Carrer del Bisbe está situado justo al lado del acueducto romano y por esta estrecha calle peatonal llegas a la Plaça de Sant Jaume. El Pont del Bisbe (Puente del Obispo), que fue construido en 1928.
La última fotografía es la bóveda del puente.

Ayuntamiento de Barcelona - Barcelona Town's Hall
I have photographed the town hall on other occasions, this time I took pictures of one of the street lamps and one of the statues on the building's facade.
El ayuntamiento lo he fotografiado en otras ocasiones, esta vez tomé fotos de una de las farola y una de las estatuas que está en la fachada del edificio.

It had been a while since I had photographed the Palau de la Generalitat. It houses the offices of the Presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
