I have been rambling in my life having no idea in what to devote myself and none of the jobs I've had have filled me. When I was younger one of my dreams was to dedicate myself to illustration, but over time I realized that job has no future unless you have much luck, so I have it as a hobby and on special occasions I accept commissions.
I am currently unemployed, so finally and after much thought, and when I say much though I mean years, finally I decided myself and I have enrolled in Artero International Academy to do the course of Dog Grooming.

He ido dado tumbos en mi vida sin saber a qué dedicarme y ninguno de los trabajos que he tenido me ha llenado. Cuando era más joven una de mis ilusiones era dedicarme a la ilustración, aunque con el tiempo me di cuenta que ese trabajo no tiene futuro a no ser que tengas mucha suerte, así que lo tengo como hobby y en ocasiones puntuales acepto comisiones.
Actualmente estoy en el paro, así que finalmente y después de mucho pensar, y cuando digo mucho pensar me refiero a años, por fin me he decidido y me he matriculado en Artero International Academy para hacer el curso de Peluquería y Estética canina.

Why this profession? One of my biggest passions are animals. Anyone who knows me knows I have a very special feeling with dogs, we understand each other well; and workings with the hands is what I like most, that's why I'm good at crafting and in the course I made of Recycling furniture the teacher was very pleased with me. So in this profession I can combine my love for animals and my hand skills and I don't think that I have big difficulties at learning the different types and techniques of cuts because in addition, I have the ability to learn quickly.
My big surprise was when I requested an appointment to visit the center before I enroll, they sent me an e-mail with an address in my town. I couldn't believe it! I was fearing the travels by public transport to move to Barcelona because it's quite expensive, and I'm going to save them! The salon where I'll do practices is just 15-20 minutes walk and the teacher seems nice.

¿Por qué esta profesión? Una de mis grandes pasiones son los animales. Quien me conoce, sabe que tengo un feeling muy especial con los perros, nos compenetramos muy bien; y trabajar con las manos es lo que más me gusta, de ahí a que se me den bien las manualidades y en el curso que realicé de Reciclaje de muebles la profesora quedó muy satisfecha conmigo. Así que en esta profesión puedo combinar mi amor hacia los animales y mis habilidades manuales ya que no creo que me sea una gran dificultad aprender los distintos tipos y técnicas de corte porque además tengo la capacidad de aprender rápido.

The visit went well, the teacher explained to me what the course was and practices will be in her canine hairdressing salon.
Like all studies, it also has its theoretical part, which I'll have to study at home and apply this knowledge in the salon, to which I must attend a minimum of three days a week. Although I have start date, until I won't attend the first class I will not know my final schedule, but will be in the morning because it is flexible and the first day I will recieve in the salon the material included in the course price.
I'm going start on Monday September 14th and will last about four months. It will be four months of hard work that I know I'm going to eenjoy. Moreover, I ran out of unnecessary whims. The course is very expensive and therefore I won't be able to afford to go to events where I have to pay a relatively expensive ticket, I won't be able to keep collecting Monster High dolls and accessories for my dolls and goodbye to concerts (I wanted to go to the Europe concert in Barcelona in December, but those 37€ hurt a lot) among other things. The latest whim that I will have is to purchase the last album of Leaves' Eyes. I just hope that after the end of the course, I find work in my new profession and recover all the money I invest because it will look at it as an investment to not get depressed.
As I'm going to attend practices in the morning, I can keep writing in the blog, but not very often. I will keep posting from time to time in the "Metal Covers" section, so stay tuned in case you want to read those entries. Also I'll write about my experiences in the course (I can't promise photos), so if you see that I'm not very active in my blogs, you know why.

La visita me fue bien, la profesora me explicó en qué consistía el curso y las prácticas serán en su peluquería.
Como todos los estudios, también tiene su parte teórica, que tendré que estudiar en casa y poner en práctica esos conocimientos en la peluquería, a la que tendré que atender un mínimo de 3 días a la semana. Aunque tengo fecha de inicio, hasta que no asista a la primera clase no sabré mi horario definitivo, aunque será por la mañana ya que es flexible y el primer día me darán en la peluquería el material que se incluye con el precio del curso.
Empezaré el lunes 14 de septiembre y tendrá una duración de aproximadamente cuatro meses. Van a ser cuatro meses de duro trabajo en el que sé que me lo voy a pasar en grande. Por otra parte, se me acabaron los caprichos innecesarios. El curso es muy caro y por lo tanto, no voy a poder permitirme el lujo de ir a eventos en los que tenga que pagar una entrada relativamente cara, no voy a poder seguir con el coleccionismo de muñecas Monster High y accesorios para mis muñecos y adiós a los conciertos (quería ir al concierto de Europe en Barcelona en diciembre, pero esos 37€ me duelen mucho) entre otras cosas. El último capricho que me voy a permitir va a ser el último disco de Leaves' Eyes. Solo espero que una vez que finalice el curso, encuentre trabajo en mi nueva profesión y así recuperar todo este dinero que voy a invertir ya que lo voy a mirar como una inversión para no deprimirme.
Como las prácticas las haré por las mañanas, podré seguir escribiendo en el blog, aunque no lo haga muy a menudo. En la sección "Metal Covers" seguiré publicando de tarde en tarde, así que estad atent@s por si queréis leer esas entradas. También iré escribiendo sobre mis experiencias en el curso (no prometo fotos), así que si veis que no estoy muy activa por mis blogs, ya sabéis el motivo.
