On the 5th May, the event "Pratifolk" (play on words meaning "Prat and Folk") was held in El Prat de Llobregat. In it activities related to Catalan culture were performed, of which in my previous post you can see photographs of the Castellers and the Falcons.
At night there were performances of the two groups of Diables (devils) that are in El Prat de Llobregat. The Diables are groups of fire and pyrotechnics that make several performances a year, coinciding with festivals of towns and cities. In their performances they dance to the rhythm of the drums while sparks fly from their scepters, encouraging the public to join them.
The first to act was the Ball de Diables del Prat, a new group that debuted in the "Pratifolk". It is a more traditional group.

El 5 de mayo se celebró en El Prat de Llobregat el evento "Pratifolk" (juego de palabras que significa "Prat y Folk"). En él se llevaron a cabo actuaciones relacionadas con la cultura catalana, de las cuales en mi anterior entrada podéis ver fotografías de los Castellers y los Falcons.
Por la noche hubo actuaciones de los dos grupos de Diables (diablos) que hay en El Prat de Llobregat. Los Diables son grupos de fuego y pirotecnia que hacen varias actuaciones al año, coincidiendo con fiestas de los pueblos y ciudades. The first performance of this new group was spectacular and very enjoyable.
The next to act was the veteran group, the Colla de Diables del Prat, accompanied by their fire beast, El Pollo.

Despite the visual and the seemingly dangerous, it is quite safe to join them and participate in their dances if you are properly dressed and take a minimum of precautions as even children can participate.

A pesar de lo visual y la aparentemente peligrosidad, es bastante seguro unirse a ellos y participar en su bailes si vas adecuadamente ataviad@ y tomas un mínimo de precauciones ya que incluso los niños pueden participar.
